As a leading regional research organization, BASP is responsible for providing assistance in the technical aspects of monitoring and evaluation as well as behavioral and biological surveillance for HIV/AIDS. Since 1996, BASP has developed strong regional ties through the development and execution of research projects financed by international donors such as Canadian International Development, the World Health Organization, the World Bank, the European Union and USAID. BASP is headquartered in Burkina Faso. They also have a satellite office in Benin.
